Large-scale energy audit program across 125 junior high schools, assessing building envelope, heating systems, ventilation, and lighting. The initiative delivered detailed diagnostics, operational optimization strategies, and long-term retrofit recommendations for improved efficiency and comfort.

Heating Optimization
  • Reduced operating schedules, start-ups, and shutdowns.
  • Adjusted daytime and nighttime set temperatures.
  • Modified heating curves for improved seasonal performance.
  • Enhanced efficiency of heating production systems, pumps, and regulators.
Envelope Upgrades
  • Improved exterior facade and parapet insulation.
  • Replaced aging windows with high-performance units.
  • Enhanced insulation under exterior floor slabs and in crawl spaces.
Domestic Hot Water (DHW) Optimization
  • Installed pressure reducers and timers on electric hot water tanks.
Heating Network
  • Applied thermal insulation to heating pipelines.
  • Installed balancing valves and rebalanced heating loops.
  • Restricted radiator output in selected areas.
Air Renewal
  • Implemented AHUs with heat recovery where feasible to optimize ventilation.
Lighting Upgrade
  • Replaced existing fixtures with LED luminaires.
